How to choose

Begin with the workpiece and cycle, then verify performance, interfaces, environment, and maintenance needs against the family data.

Read the surface

Flat, curved, textured, oily, hot, fragile, and porous surfaces each demand a different lip geometry and compound.

Calculate holding force

Use effective cup area, working vacuum, acceleration, orientation, friction, and a suitable safety factor.

Choose geometry deliberately

Flat cups favor fast cycles. Bellows cups add compliance. Oval cups fit narrow parts. Foam seals adapt to uneven surfaces.

Plan for wear

Match material to temperature and media, then make inspection and replacement part of the maintenance interval.

Universal Flat Cups

The default first choice for flat, rigid, reasonably smooth workpieces. Short cycle time, minimal inner volume, no lateral drift under acceleration. Available in rubber and in polyurethane where abrasion resistance matters.

Thin-Lip Flat Cups

A soft, thin sealing lip that conforms without pulling the material into the cup. For paper, film, foil, bags and solar wafer.

Flat Cups for Metal Sheet

Compounds chosen for oil, wear and ozone resistance, with a lip profile that resists lateral slip on lubricated sheet.

Application-Specific Flat Cups

Tuned for one industry each: wood, glass and rough or textured surfaces.

Large-Diameter Flat Cups

Where a single cup has to carry the load. High pull-out force at the cost of inner volume and evacuation time.

Heavy-Load Cups

Replaceable wearing parts on a reusable body, so the consumable cost of heavy handling stays low.

1.5-Fold Bellows Cups

One and a half convolutions: enough stroke to absorb height tolerance and cushion the approach, without the lateral softness of a deep bellows.

Multi-Fold Bellows Cups

2.5 and 4.5 folds for large height differences and for lifting a workpiece clear before traversing.

Universal & PU Bellows Cups

General-purpose bellows in rubber and polyurethane compounds. Polyurethane where abrasion resistance and non-marking both matter.

Application-Specific Bellows Cups

Sealing geometries for soft packaging, spherical bodies and thin sheet that must not deform.

Oval Cups

Maximum contact area on long, narrow workpieces (profiles, strip, extrusions) where a round cup of the same force would not fit.

Foam-Rubber Cups

A closed-cell foam face that seals across joints, perforations, ribs and coarse texture. Circular and rectangular.

Special-Function Cups

Nozzle, annular, high-temperature, non-contact Bernoulli, swivelling and electrically conductive designs.
